Do you have a child who is looking at getting into rugby? Whether they're wanting to learn a new sport, improve their skills, try something new or simply wanting to have some fun in a team environment, then come along to Hamilton Old Boys Junior Rugby Club. We welcome both boys and girls, aged between 4-13 years old (Year 8, at school), to become part of our great club. HOB provides a fun and safe environment for both boys and girls!

Our Programs

Rippa Grades

Friday nights and Saturday mornings are all go down at Hamilton Old Boys with our Rippa grades. We have 6th and 7th Grades learning the basic rugby skills and developing a love for the game by playing in a safe, contact free Rippa rugby environment.

Tackle Grades

We offer playing opportunities in a variety of grades across the Waikato Rugby Union competition from 8th grade through to 13th Grade.

Training Sessions

Team Coaches set their training sessions (at least once a week) and they focus on skill development, game strategies, and physical fitness.

Tournaments

Our teams are encouraged to participate in local and regional competitions, giving players the chance to showcase their skills and compete against other clubs.
